Trade ministry says mulls longer benefits for electronics industry

KAZAN, Nov 13 (PRIME) -- Russia’s Industry and Trade Ministry is considering prolongation of reduced corporate profit and payroll taxes for the national radio electronics industry expiring at the end of 2024, Deputy Minister Vasily Shpak said on Monday.

“These benefits work till December 2024. Now we together with the colleagues from other federal executive agencies are thinking on their extension,” Shpak told reporters.

He added that the decision will be made in 2024, depending on the results of the year.

“It’s clear that the measures have proved their high effectiveness, and we are well determined to prolong them,” the deputy minister said.
